If you can still sign in, you can erase your account yourself, right now, from this page. You do not need the app installed. Deletion starts immediately and cannot be undone.

Before you delete

This page lets you permanently delete your KaryaYogi account and everything synced to KaryaYogi servers. It works from any browser, on any device — you do not need the app installed, and you never need to reinstall it just to delete your account.

To use the form above, you need the details you sign in with: your username or email, your password, and — only if you switched it on — a 6-digit code from your authenticator app. If you no longer have these, use the email route below instead.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no waiting period and no way to recover the account afterwards. If you only want a fresh start inside the app, do not delete your account — sign out, or use the app's own reset options instead.

What is deleted, immediately

The moment your request is verified, we erase the following from KaryaYogi servers:

• Your account record — including your encrypted email address, any passkeys, and any two-factor (TOTP) secrets;
• Your encrypted sync snapshot — the synced copy of your tasks, notes and tool data;
• Your online backup ZIP — the encrypted backup file stored with your account;
• Your device records — every registered device, including its push-notification tokens;
• Your sign-in history — the audit trail of logins and security events for the account.

Once this completes, KaryaYogi servers can no longer identify you or restore your synced content.

What is retained

We keep as little as security and the law allow:

• A minimal deletion log — a record that an account was deleted on a given date, kept so we can show deletion requests were honoured. It stores a one-way fingerprint of the username and no name, no email address, no IP address and no device details — by itself it cannot reveal who you were;
• Residual copies inside routine server backups — our encrypted server backups are taken as a whole, so a deleted account may persist inside older backup sets until normal backup rotation overwrites them. Backups are used only for disaster recovery, never to restore deleted accounts;
• Records a law requires us to keep — if a specific Indian law requires a particular record, we keep only that record, only for as long as that law requires.

Nothing that is retained can be used to recreate your account or bring your synced data back into active use.

If you never created an account

KaryaYogi is offline-first and works fully without an account. If you never created an account and never switched on sync, KaryaYogi servers hold nothing about you — there is no account, no email address and no synced content to delete. Everything lives only on your phone (see Data on your phone).

Lost your sign-in details? Email us

If you cannot use the form — for example, you forgot your password or lost your authenticator — email support@karyayogi.in with the subject line KaryaYogi account deletion request, preferably from the email address registered on the account.

Before deleting, we may ask you to confirm control of the registered email, so that nobody else can delete your account. Once verified, we carry out the same full deletion described above and confirm it to you by reply.

Data on your phone

KaryaYogi is offline-first: notes, plans, vault items and files stored only on your phone cannot be deleted remotely by us — that is by design.

To remove local data, open the app and use Emergency Reset (under Privacy & Settings), or uninstall the app / clear its data from your phone's Android settings.

SureSign accounts are separate

SureSign, our digital-signature verification product, is a separate service with its own accounts. Deleting your KaryaYogi account does not affect a SureSign vault account, even if you registered it with the same username or email. To delete a SureSign account, use SureSign's own deletion flow.

The fine print

KaryaYogi is an independent, unofficial app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of the Government of India, and deleting your KaryaYogi account has no effect on eOffice, HRMS or any other government system or record.
