Trust Certificate
A one-page plain summary of how KaryaYogi handles your data, in language you can verify.

What this page is
This is the Trust Certificate for KaryaYogi. It is a short, plain summary of how the app treats your data, written so you can check each claim yourself inside the app.
KaryaYogi is a private planning and productivity app. It is not an official Government of India system. It does not replace or connect to eOffice, HRMS, APAR, pay slips, sanction files, GeM, GFR, CGHS, DoPT or any authorised system of record. Everything you create in KaryaYogi is a private draft, note or estimate for your own use.
The app is published by KaryaYogi. The optional web workspace is at my.karyayogi.in.
Phone-only by default
KaryaYogi is offline-first. All 74 tools work with the SIM removed and no internet connection.
You do not need to create an account to use the app. By default your data stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.
You can verify this yourself: turn on aeroplane mode, or remove the SIM, and keep using the tools. Nothing stops working.
Your data is encrypted on the device
KaryaYogi stores your data in a local vault protected with AES-256 encryption.
You can lock the app with biometric or PIN. This keeps your planning private even if someone else picks up your phone.
Because the app works without an account, control of your data starts and stays with you.
Sync is optional, encrypted, and hosted in India
You are not required to sync. Sync is off unless you turn it on.
If you choose to enable it, sync is encrypted and hosted in India, and is tied to your own account. Optional cloud sync and the web portal are part of a paid plan; the app and all 74 tools are free.
If you never enable sync, your data never leaves your phone.
Local backups you control
A one-tap encrypted local backup produces a single file that you hold. You decide where it is stored and who, if anyone, receives it.
This lets you move to a new phone, or keep a copy for your own records, without depending on any cloud service.
No ads, no trackers, no sale of your data
KaryaYogi carries no advertising and no third-party trackers.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles from it.
The free app is funded by the optional paid sync-and-portal plan, not by monetising your information.
Your rights under Indian law
Personal data in India is governed by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act). Under it, KaryaYogi / KaryaYogi is the Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal.
In plain terms, this means you have rights over your own data, including to:
- ask what personal data of yours is being processed;
- ask for correction of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data;
- ask for erasure of your data where it is no longer needed;
- raise a grievance and have it addressed within a reasonable time.
We process personal data only for the purposes you enable, and only for as long as needed to provide the feature you asked for.
You can erase everything
KaryaYogi includes an Emergency Reset that wipes all local KaryaYogi data from the device.
This puts the final decision in your hands. If you want the app to hold nothing, you can make that true in a few taps.
If you have enabled sync, you can also exercise your erasure rights over synced data using the contact points below.
Verify it yourself
You do not have to take these statements on trust. You can check each one:
- Offline: remove the SIM or use aeroplane mode — the tools still work.
- Sync off: the app functions fully without an account.
- Backup: create a backup and confirm the file is yours to keep.
- Erase: run Emergency Reset and confirm local data is gone.
