Network Speed Test answers a simple, common question — "is the line slow today, or is it me?" — without a separate app. Run it from your desk or from your government quarters and it measures ping, jitter, download and upload, then sorts the download into a coarse band tuned for an office or quarters broadband line (poor under 5 Mbps, fair 5–25, good 25–75, excellent 75 and above). Tag each run with where it ran (Office or Home) and the connection you are on (Wi-Fi or Mobile data) — these are manual chips you pick, with an optional note. Every result is saved to a running history so you can compare the office Wi-Fi against your quarters connection over time, even spot a bad day before raising it with the IT section. One honest caveat: your saved history is stored entirely on your device and never uploaded, but the speed measurement itself has to download and upload data to a public speed endpoint to work — that is how any speed test runs.
